Connect just got more valuable

Today we restructured Abacus Connect. The short version: Collections and Compliance are now included in Connect base — no more add-on friction.

What changed

Connect base is now $500/month and comes with everything operators actually need to run their book day-to-day:

• Google Sheets sync, deal and merchant tracking, branded merchant portal (as before)
• Collections workflow — manual SMS and email outreach, case tracking, UCC filing stats
• Compliance pack — UCC filings, state-specific disclosure letters, payoff generation

Brokers and Syndications stay as optional $99/month add-ons. Advanced Analytics stays a $50/month add-on. Everything you can't add to Connect — Plaid bank connections, auto-reconciliation, ACH payment initiation, AI voice collections, document vault, unified inbox, the full underwriting pipeline — lives in Pro.

Why we bundled Collections and Compliance

Chasing merchant payments and keeping UCC filings current isn't optional work for an MCA shop — it's the job. Splitting those out as paid modules forced operators to make a pricing decision before they could do core work. Rolling them into Connect cleans up the sales pitch, and operationally the bundle reflects what every MCA actually needs on day one.

Why Analytics is still an add-on (and Underwriting is Pro-only)

Analytics gets richer once you have Plaid-driven live data, but the Connect-tier version — portfolio charts, cohort views, 12-month lookback on synced sheet data — is still useful on its own. So we kept it as a self-serve $50 add-on for Connect tenants who want more than the default dashboard.

Underwriting, on the other hand, deeply integrates with the document vault, the shared inbox, and bank-statement automation. It's not a feature you sprinkle on — it's a workflow that assumes the full Pro infrastructure. That stays Pro-only.

What this means for existing tenants

If you're already on Connect with Collections or Compliance add-ons, nothing breaks today. Your subscription stays on your current Stripe price until your next renewal — we'll migrate you over then with clear communication before any billing change. Honest Funding (our launch pilot) is grandfathered with Brokers comped.
